Dan and Theresa McArthur are the proud parents of five children, three of which are married. They are also the proud grandparents of three grandchildren.

Shonda, Damien, Cole and Mikhaela Mangabhai

Our oldest daughter, Shonda, is married to Damien Craig Mangabhai who is from Zimbabwe. They live in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Their little boy, Aidan Cole Mangabhai, was born on July 3, 2007. He celebrated his second birthday in July 2009 and is a busy little guy who likes to explore his world. He's an adorable little boy. On August 6, 2008 Shonda gave birth to their second child, Mikhaela Renee, weighing in at 9 lbs. 3 oz. She's a beautiful baby girl with dark hair and eyes. She celebrated her 1st birthday and is a busy toddler. Shonda is a very busy mommy. Damien works as a quality manager at Kennametal Engineered Products. They are active in their local church body, Covenant Church East. Shonda is part of the prayer ministry and Damien is on the worship team.

Lisha and Luke Fine

Our daughter Lisha and her husband, Luke, and baby girl, Esme, live in Hartsville, South Carolina. Esme was born November 5, 2008 and weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. She is a busy toddler having just celebrated her 1st birthday. She has the most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen. Lisha works only part time at the Midnight Rooster since Esme was born. She loves being home more doing the ’mommy’ thing. She also does assorted cleaning jobs so she is a very busy lady. Luke is the IT Coordinator at ACS Technology, a computer software company in Florence, SC. They make computer software for churches and schools. Luke is head of the worship department at the Hartsville Community Fellowship and Lisha is on the worship team. Lisha is head of the intermediate children’s department at their church and loves it. She’s very creative and innovative in her ministry. Luke travels often with different Christian musicians.

Robby and Tatum McArthur

Robby married Tatum Shea Beasley on October 31, 2008. She’s a beautiful blond, very quiet and lovely. The whole family has fallen in love with her. They had a Costume theme for their wedding since it was on Halloween and it was the most fun wedding I've ever gone to. They live in Brighton, Colorado. Tatum is studying to become a nurse and works two part time jobs. Robby works at Starbucks. He is still all about music. He loves guitar mostly. He plays at assorted coffee shops and other gigs, as well as on the worship team at church. They have a cat, a dog and recently acquired a parrot when it flew into Tatum's work place. Tatum's younger brother caught the bird and Tatum gave it to Robby for his birthday.

Great News! Robby and Tatum are expecting their first baby in August of 2010.

Charis

Charis (Bethy) is a lovely young lady at 21years old. She lives in Kansas City, MO. She shares a house with three other girls. She works at IHOP the restaurant and is involved with IHOP the International House of Prayer. She loves living in Kansas City and has lots of friends and keeps her social calendar very full. She recently went to Illinois to work at a Christian Camp. She does that nearly every summer and it is the highlight of her year. She plans on starting some courses at a nearby community college in the fall. Charis is such a beautiful woman of God. Everywhere she goes she impacts people with the love of Jesus. Charis loves her family and miss them a lot being so far away from everybody. She takes every opportunity possible to spend time with her siblings, nieces and nephew. She recently went to a wedding in Ohio for a friend of the family, and afterwards went home with Shonda and Damien for a visit. She gets around!

Andrew

Andrew is 16 and is in 11th grade. He has grown so much in the past couple of years so that he's now taller than his dad. He may be the youngest in the family, but he's the tallest! He’s good looking too. He plays drums and bongos and is on the worship team at the English speaking church in Gweru that he attends. He loves going to youth group and playing drums for the worship team there too. The youth in Gweru are on fire for God and Andy is growing into a real leader. He keeps busy with lots of friends. He loves to swim and play squash, rugby and golf. If a grade was given for playing X-Box, he’d get an A. He is a very ingenious sort of guy and is always thinking of new inventive ways to improve things or make new inventions. When we were in the US last year he got his learner's permit and he absolutely loves to drive. Watch out world, here he comes.

We are back in Zimbabwe and very busy. Missing our family in the US is difficult, but even so we are seeing such blessings from the Lord. We are so grateful for what He does in our lives and for our beautiful family.
